Greetings!
I have been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism since 1994.
About three years ago, I found my true passion and calling when I was
introduced to the art of glass beadmaking (Lampworking). Before that,
my focus was on the Musical Arts, primarily Recorder and Harp. While I
still perform occasionally, my practice time has "morphed" into
torch time!
I have
lived in three Kingdoms, and one region since I joined. I began in Loch
Bais, Meridies, and was a Charter member of the Region of Gleann Abhainn.
From there, I moved to the Barony of Bryn Madoc, Meridies. Upon completing
graduate school, I moved to the Canton of the Guardians of the Sacred
Stone, Atlantia. After two and a half years there, I took a new job that
landed myself and my family in the Barony of Elfsea, Ansteorra.
The Barony
of Elfsea has graciously welcomed my family and accepted us as one of
their own. I am currently hosting "Open Studio Nights" at my
house on Thursday nights, for the advancement of the glass arts in the
Kingdom. I have also taught glass beadmaking at Elfsea Defender, and hope
to teach much more in the near future.
